On July 26, 2013, DZMM-TLC (Teaching, Learning, and Caring), the public service arm of DZMM TeleRadyo, and one of our partners for this school year, visited Pasong Tamo Elementary School to conduct a community outreach activity. Pasong Tamo Elementary School was the second stop for DZMM-TLC, as they plan to visit all ten of our placement schools throughout the year.
There was a medical and dental mission opened to the Pasong Tamo Elementary School community, along with a mobile library parked inside the school campus. ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) and Studio 23 host Tina Marasigan led a classroom of students in a read-along to the short story, “Ang Batang Ayaw Maligo”.
Radyo Patrol #46 Johnson Manabat was also present at the event to interview Principal Virginia Calosing, Grade 3 Chairman Amy Bautista, and Mrs. Precy Montalba of the Grade 3 faculty.
Also present at the event were ABS-CBN Senior Vice President for News and Current Affairs Ging Reyes, DZMM Station Manager Marah Faner-Capuyan, Dr. Luisa Puyat, and DZMM Special Projects Manager May Valle-Ceniza.
